Sacred Mexico: Self Guided Journey Guide

£47.00

Twelve days where temples drink the dawn and cenotes open into the underworld.

The Yucatán is a land of turquoise wells, temples rising out of the forest and a living Maya culture that still prays for rain. This guide is your companion to its sacred landscape, from the moon goddess Ixchel on the edge of the sea to the serpent of light at Chichén Itzá, with a full day by day route, sacred places, stays, eateries and rituals for a slow, open hearted journey.

What to expect

You begin on Isla Mujeres, the island of women, greeting the dawn beside the shrine of Ixchel. Then you head down the Caribbean coast to swim in Dos Ojos and stand above the sea at Tulum, before cycling the white roads of Cobá, floating through the ancient canals of Sian Ka'an at Muyil and resting by the lagoon of seven colours at Bacalar.

From there you cross the Maya heartland to the rain god's masks at Kabah, the Pyramid of the Magician at Uxmal and a cacao ceremony, before Dzibilchaltún, Mérida and the yellow city of Izamal. You close with Chichén Itzá and its Sacred Cenote, the cenotes of Ik Kil, Suytun and Zací, the colonial streets of Valladolid and the winged guardians of Ek' Balam.

Expect turquoise light falling into dark water, warm stone beneath your hands, the scent of copal and cacao and a heart wide open to the sky.

When you are ready to go even deeper

If this journey stirs something in you, and it so often does, you may wish to travel with us in person. On a private guided tour we take you to these places ourselves, holding the space, opening the doors and helping you receive everything the land has been keeping for you.

A lot can unfold, come up or be remembered from parallel lifetimes when we step foot on sacred land. Old memories rise, emotions move, dreams get vivid and little pieces of you come home. You may not remember the land, but the land remembers you.

That is why we offer Sacred Activation Integration 1:1 sessions with Lisa Marie and Laura: ninety minutes by phone or Google Meet to answer your questions, a swift clearing and balancing of your energy, and a full written report with tools and techniques to support you, emailed to you afterwards.
