We are three women, drawn together by a shared love of beauty, remembrance and the sacred landscapes of Scotland. Lisa of Rock & Rose works through scent, story and ritual; a Sister of the Rose and Myrrhophore who reawakens the old wisdom held within plants and the living Earth. Kelly of Heartology© guides through the Gene Keys, Theta Healing and silent counselling, holding space for the deep and gentle shifts that change a life from the inside out. Victoria of White Rose Wellbeing weaves yoga and Mind and Body Alchemy, tending the body as a sacred home and the breath as a way back to ourselves. Between us we carry many years of study, practice and quiet devotion to this path, and what we offer here at Dungarthill we offer with our whole hearts: an invitation to be held, and to remember who you have always been.

Everything we do is led by the heart and shaped around space. We keep the circle to ten women so that everyone is truly seen, and we leave room to breathe in every day, mornings that begin slowly, afternoons walking the land, evenings gathered in ceremony and warm conversation. Our gifts are woven through the week and offered softly, as doorways you are free to walk through in your own time rather than anything asked of you. There is no rushing here and no pressure to be anywhere other than exactly where you are. We honour the rhythm of the land, the turning of the days and the quiet intelligence of your own knowing, trusting that beauty, rest and true sisterhood do the deepest work of all. Our part is simply to hold it all with love and to walk beside you.

We work with women, men and couples who feel a quiet pull toward something deeper, even if they cannot quite name it yet. Some come to rest after a long season of giving to everyone else; some arrive at a threshold or turning point, ready to shed an old skin; some are simply drawn to Scotland, to its sacred landscapes and to a richer relationship with their own soul. You do not need years of practice to belong here, and you do not need to arrive with any of it worked out. You need only an open heart and a willingness to slow down and receive. If you have read this far and felt something stir, that is usually your answer. Your heart already knows; we would be honoured to welcome you.

You will be more than alright; you will be held from the moment you arrive. Most of our guests who join us come on their own, and the magic of a small circle of ten is that you arrive as a stranger and leave with soul family. Rock & Rose Adventures was founded by Lisa Marie, who has been travelling solo for thirty years, since she was sixteen, much of it alone through the wild places of Scotland; she knows the flutter of nerves before a journey like this, and she has shaped every detail so that you never have to navigate anything by yourself. A group transfer carries you from Edinburgh with the others, the days are gently guided, and there is always a warm hand to settle you in. Coming alone is one of the bravest and most rewarding things anyone can do, and you will be in the safest of company.

The retreat is held at Dungarthill House in Perthshire, in the heart of Scotland, from 15 to 22 September 2026, across seven nights. Check in is from 5pm after our visit to Rosslyn Chapel on the first day, and we depart together after breakfast at 10am on the final morning, with the house becoming our home for the whole week.

The excursions are gentle and unhurried, with no hard hiking and no need for any particular level of fitness. Most involve easy walking on woodland paths and around sacred sites, always at a soft and mindful pace, with plenty of time to pause, rest and simply be. Some ground can be uneven or a little soft underfoot, so comfortable walking shoes are all you need. If you have any mobility needs, a health condition or anything that affects how far you can walk, tell us when you book and we will quietly adapt the day so you are fully included; there is never any pressure to do more than feels good for your body.

Dungarthill House is a beautiful country home of light filled rooms, four poster beds and quiet corners to retreat into. Rooms are private or semi private, so you have a true sanctuary to return to each day, with comfort, warmth and plenty of room to exhale. Let us know your preference when you book and we will do our utmost to honour it.

Food here is one of the great joys of the week. Meals are fresh, seasonal and plant forward, with premium Scottish meat and fish, prepared with love and shared in the warm company of the group. Every dietary need and preference is gladly catered for; you simply let us know in advance and the table is made ready for you. Packed lunches will be provided on tour days.

Each day unfolds with its own gentle rhythm, balancing exploration, restoration and remembrance, with spaciousness held at the centre of it all. Throughout the week, you can expect:

One individual Mind and Body Alchemy session with Victoria
Heart led transformational sessions with Kelly, including Gene Keys exploration and soul gift discovery
Sacred site visits and excursions led by Lisa, exploring Scotland's mythology, history and ancient landscapes

A deeply restorative sound bath to soothe the nervous system and carry you into stillness
Healing, ceremony and restorative practices
One individual massage treatment
Nourishing, seasonal meals shared in the warm company of the group
Time for journaling, reflection, rest and integration
You are warmly invited to soften your grip on the outside world while you are with us. Wifi is available at the house should you need it, and there is no rule against your phone; we simply find that the week works its deepest magic when you let the noise fall away and allow yourself to be fully here.

No experience of yoga, ceremony or spiritual practice is needed; everything is offered softly, as doorways you are free to walk through in your own time, and each practice is gently guided so beginners feel just as at home as those who have walked this path for years. What you take part in, and what you choose to rest from, is entirely yours. The week has a natural flow and structure, and there is always space to step back, sleep in, walk the grounds or simply sit by the fire. We hold the container; you move through it at the pace your heart asks for.

Our time together begins on the afternoon of Tuesday 15 September at the breathtaking Rosslyn Chapel, just south of Edinburgh, where we gather as a circle before journeying north to our luxurious home for the week. From there, Dungarthill becomes our base, resting close to one of the most storied stretches of land in Scotland, where two great earth currents, Belinus and Elen, weave together along the ancient pathway known as the Spine of Albion. Over the week we journey out to sacred places held within this landscape: the old cathedral and ancient woodland of Dunkeld, the Hermitage with its rushing waterfall and towering trees, the ancient stone circle of Croft Moraig (Mary’s Croft), and the great Fortingall Yew, among the oldest living beings in Europe. Each visit is led gently by Lisa Marie and Daniel, weaving in the mythology, history and remembrance held in the land. For those who would love it, there is also time for a spot of gentle shopping among the finest local produce, clothing and luxury goods at the renowned House of Bruar, with a wander to the magnificent Falls of Bruar close by. The places we visit are chosen with the rhythm of the season and the group, so every excursion feels alive and right for the One’s who gather.

A return group transfer from Edinburgh Waverley is included for guests travelling with the group, so the journey is held for you from the moment you arrive. Dungarthill is easily reached from Edinburgh Airport in around an hour, from Glasgow Airport in around an hour and twenty minutes, and from Perth railway station in around twenty minutes. Detailed travel guidance is shared with every guest once your place is confirmed, whether you are coming from elsewhere in the UK or joining us from overseas.
-
Most guests travelling from the United States, and from many other countries, can visit the UK without a visa for stays of up to six months. You will, however, now need a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation, known as an ETA, before you travel. It is quick and simple: you apply through the official UK ETA app or at gov.uk for a fee of twenty pounds. Approval usually comes within minutes, though it is wise to apply at least a few days ahead. A single ETA covers all of Scotland and the rest of the UK, and it lasts two years, so it will serve you well beyond your week with us. We always recommend applying directly through the official UK government channels rather than any other site, as some others charge more. We share full travel guidance with every guest once your place is confirmed. If you are joining us from elsewhere in the world, do check the requirements for your own country, and we are always glad to help.
-
Your place is secured with a deposit, with the balance payable ahead of the retreat, and flexible payment plans are available on request so the week can be spread comfortably. With only ten places, we suggest reaching out early to avoid disappointment.
