Sacred Easter Island: Self Guided Journey Guide

ÂŁ47.00

Eight days where stone ancestors watch over the sea and the earth hums at its navel.

Rapa Nui is a place of stone ancestors and crater lakes, Birdman cliffs and lava caves, all held on a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific that its people call Te Pito o te Henua, the navel of the world. This guide is your companion to eight days on the island: the route, the stories, the feelings and the practices, plus clear, honest notes on park tickets, single entry sites and where you must book a certified local Rapa Nui guide.

What to expect

You begin in Hanga Roa with sunset at Ahu Tahai and Ahu Ko Te Riku, the Holy Cross church with its Rapa Nui carvings, and the island museum. Then the southwest: the fitted stones of Ahu Vinapu, the reed lake inside Rano Kau, the Birdman village of Orongo and the painted sea cave of Ana Kai Tangata.

From there you travel to Rano Raraku, the quarry where the moai were born, and Ahu Tongariki at sunrise, then the petroglyphs of Papa Vaka, the navel stone of Te Pito Kura and the white sands of Anakena with Ahu Nau Nau. The final days take you inland to Puna Pau, Ahu Huri a Urenga and the seven moai of Ahu Akivi, into the lava caves of Ana Te Pahu and Ana Kakenga, and up to the roof of the island on Maunga Terevaka.

Expect wind on the crater rims, salt on your skin, the warm red earth of Puna Pau and the deep, quiet gaze of the ancestors.

When you are ready to go even deeper

If this journey stirs something in you, and it so often does, you may wish to travel with us in person. On a private guided tour we take you to these places ourselves, holding the space, opening the doors and helping you receive everything the land has been keeping for you.

A lot can unfold, come up or be remembered from parallel lifetimes when we step foot on sacred land. Old memories rise, emotions move, dreams get vivid and little pieces of you come home. You may not remember the land, but the land remembers you.

That is why we offer Sacred Activation Integration 1:1 sessions with Lisa Marie and Laura: ninety minutes by phone or Google Meet to answer your questions, a swift clearing and balancing of your energy, and a full written report with tools and techniques to support you, emailed to you afterwards.
